WPP is committed to improving the lives of individuals living with Parkinson’s disease worldwide. We are proud to be the only charitable organization globally authorized to dispense Levodopa and Carbidopa—the gold standard in Parkinson’s treatment. This unique capability allows us to deliver life-saving medications to underserved populations who otherwise lack access to essential care. In addition to supplying free medications, WPP provides: - Educational materials in over 20 languages - Assistive devices to improve daily living - Localized exercise and wellness programs Our goal is to ensure that every individual affected by Parkinson’s, regardless of their socioeconomic background or location, has access to comprehensive support and accurate information. In 2019, WPP hosted Canada’s first-ever Parkinson’s-focused conference for primary care physicians. The event was an outstanding success, attended by over 75 general practitioners, and featured in-depth discussions with a panel of renowned neurologists. We are excited to bring back this impactful event in 2025! This year’s conference will provide primary care physicians with updated, evidence-based knowledge on Parkinson’s disease, treatment options, helping them better diagnose and manage the condition in their practices.
